This is by far the best straightener I have ever used-and I've used them all. I have thick wavy hair that doesn't like to straighten-especially if it's humid outside. I used to use a hot tools straightener and it worked decently, but it doesn't even come close to how well the chi works. I'm talking Jennifer Aniston smooth straight hair that actually stays straight all day long! The iron heats up VERY quickly and the handle doesn't get hot so it is easy to hold. If you are considering buying this I highly recommend it! It's worth the money, I promise!!!

This is a product that I have been looking for since high school. I have thick, coarse hair with a strong curl, and whether I blow dry it out like a straw, and swelling. I was trying to iron when they first appeared in the past few years, drug trafficking. But they hardly make a difference.
